Spaceman.Saturn.V.Silver

Saturn V Harmonic Booster

Silver
AVAILABLE NOW!
$219 + Shipping

SOLD OUT

The Saturn V is a tone enhancer. It features a simple two knob control layout for Boost and Drive. The Boost control
alone can deliver 18db of boost, with a hint of added sparkle. Adjusting the Drive control will add more harmonic
distortion, while also increasing the total output level of the pedal. Cranking both controls to max will yield 35db of
boost, full of complex harmonic character. The overall tone of the Saturn V gives a subtle openness to the top end of the frequency spectrum. As great as this pedal sounds with guitar, it works equally well with bass and baritone guitar, as it keeps the bass frequencies present, tight and controlled. The harmonic distortion present in the Saturn V is extremely dynamic, dig in and the Saturn V will react. The drive texture is comprised of a mix of odd and even harmonics. The Boost side of the pedal is focused on even-order harmonics. While the Drive side of the pedal increases these even-order harmonics, it noticeably adds odd-order harmonics to the mix. While it excels as a harmonic booster, the Saturn V crosses the line into the realm of light overdrive when the Drive control is maxed. Completely hand soldered and handmade in Portland, Oregon, the Saturn V utilizes true-bypass switching via the heaviest duty mechanical footswitch available, while your tone is transferred via quality open-frame jacks. Open one up and you’ll see an unparalleled display of craftsmanship, with an immaculate hand-soldered PCB, detailed military-spec wiring and custom heavy-duty battery connector. On top of the USA cast-aluminum enclosure sits a durable, engraved vinyl faceplate and jewel indicator light. This pedal is built to last a lifetime. Each pedal is numbered on the nameplate, stating it's limited availability and in addition each is signed and numbered on the inside. The Saturn V also comes with a transferable five year warranty, plus a lifetime discount repair plan.

All sales are final.

Spaceman.Effects.Saturn.V

The newest from Spaceman Effects was announced today! The Saturn V is a Harmonic Boost Overdrive.  It's exactly in between the Mercury lll and the Aphelion.  It starts where the Mercury leaves off and ends where the Aphelion starts.  It's basically a "dirty boost".  Where you can get it pretty much clean, and also get it into a light overdrive.  It's pretty awesome - the dynamics are right in line with the Mercury and Aphelion and the harmonics are what you would expect from Spaceman.

The Saturn V is a tone enhancer.  At once both a harmonic-laden boost and low-gain overdrive, it eludes categorization.  Named after the NASA rocket that propelled the first humans to the moon, the Saturn V is here to rocket your tone into the heavens.

The Saturn V features a simple two knob control layout for Boost and Drive.  The Boost control alone can deliver 18db of boost, with a hint of added sparkle.  Adjusting the Drive control will add more harmonic distortion, while also increasing the total output level of the pedal.  Cranking both controls to max will yield 35db of boost, full of complex harmonic character.
The overall tone of the Saturn V gives a subtle openness to the top end of the frequency spectrum, while not giving up any precious bass frequencies.  As great as this pedal sounds with guitar, it works equally well  with bass and baritone guitar, as it keeps the bass frequencies present, tight and controlled.  In good Spaceman fashion, the harmonic distortion present in the Saturn V is extremely dynamic.  Play with a light touch and you’ll get a clean sound, but dig in and the Saturn V will react.  It feels like playing a tube amp on the edge of breakup

The drive texture in the Saturn V is comprised of a mix of odd and even harmonics.  It is reminiscent of the drive tones heard in the Spaceman Aphelion, although much more subtle.  While it excels as a harmonic booster, the Saturn V crosses the line into the realm of light overdrive when the Drive control is maxed.  It also works well with other pedals, opening up new possibilities with other boost, fuzz, and overdrive effects.
For this pedal, we dug into our stash of vintage military parts, as well as using the highest quality modern parts available.  Metal film resistors are used throughout, along with capacitors from Mallory, F&T, Illinois Capacitor and Panasonic.
On top of the USA cast-aluminum enclosure sits a durable, engraved vinyl faceplate and red jewel indicator light.  This pedal is built to last a lifetime.      We will be releasing the Saturn V in multiple batches in order to prevent long wait times.  The First Editions are Polished Chrome and Copper plated, with NOS 1959 dimmable indicators.  There are 25 Chrome and 50 Copper Available for initial pre-order.  The first 30 pedals ordered are expected to be delivered by Christmas Eve.  There is a limit of one per person, of each edition.  More editions will become available very soon.

The Bad Habbit
An incredibly diverse drive unit that takes you from thick, classic drive tones, to rich and complex distortion, and even mellow fuzz tones. Capable of anything from vintage grit, to modern crunch, to smooth/classic fuzz. The Bad Habit will have you hooked the first time you turn it on. 100% Hand-built in the USA, with high quality components and (as always) true bypass.

REV. 1 : The first revision has altered the circuit to make it compatible with single coils. The Thick switch has been changed into a knob, and the drive control has seen a slight reduction in gain.

-Volume: Controls overall volume
-Drive: Controls overall drive
-Low: Controls low-end EQ and saturation
-High: Controls high-end EQ and saturation
-Thick: Varies the thickness and aggression of the circuit.

*** Recommended for either Humbuckers or Single Coils ***

$145.00
Lil Dirt
A versatile overdrive that goes from dirty boost to dynamic drive tones, to high gain break-up bliss. The tone knob adds saturation and girth to the overall sound, while the mud knob controls the gain going into the circuit. The Lil Dirt is a natural extension of your guitar and amplifier, retains your original tone, and sounds as convincing as a cranked tube amp. This is not another cliche overdrive, this is the Lil Dirt. 100% hand-built in the USA with high quality components, and (as always) true bypass.

REV. 1 : The first revision has seen a dramatic increase in the input inpedance, giving more clarity and fidelity to the tone.

-Volume: Controls Overall Level
-Dirt: Controls Overall amount of Gain
-Tone: Controls saturation/transparency, turn it down for more transparency, up for more saturation
-Mud: Controls pre-boost section, adds richness, complexity, and boost
-Lows: Adds low-end punch to the circuit

Lotus.Purple.Boost

Owner of Lotus Pedals, Sean Erspamer, started hand building pedals in 2009 after searching to find incredible tone to no avail.

Sean says, "I design Lotus Pedals to be simple because I want to keep your focus on playing guitar, not fiddling with your gear. Turn the knobs, find a tone that suits your style and play. Its that easy". He has also been a design tech for boutique pro audio maker, Crane Song, learning how to designs circuits with excellent tonal characteristics.

Lotus offers delays, tremolos, overdrives, fuzz and boosts. So there are a whole slew of options to choose from! They will soon be re-designed featuring new paint and labels for a whole new look but same amazing sound!

In this post we are featuring the Purple Boost. This pedal has been particularly popular in Nashville among the pros that check out our gear on a regular basis. The Purple Boost was made for those who may play solid state amps. The Purple Boost will give you those tube sounds that are so warm and friendly! What we love about this pedal is pairing up with a tube amp. It's just a double hit of lovely tube sounds.

For only $149.00 it's a great boost at a great price!

Burriss.Boostiest.2.5

When you think of the name Burriss you think of amps, great amps. However, do not overlook The Boostiest 2.5 made by Burriss. When an amp company makes a pedal that continuously gets great reviews and is an all together "hot" item you know it's got to be great!

The Burriss Boostiest is a combination of two totally independent gain pedals in a single enclosure. On the right side(input side) there is a fully adjustable clean gain pre-amp. On the left side(output side) there is a "TS" flavored overdrive circuit. Both circuits feed from the same power source, a single 9V battery or a standard "boss" style power supply.
This power source is divided and stepped up to a 16V~18Voperating voltage for the clean gain boost side and lowered or "browned out" for the overdrive circuit. Both circuits are true bypass and can be used alone or together.
"I believe that this topography gives the best combination for a big clean tone and a fatter overdrive tone." -Bob Burriss, Designer and Custom Builder

CONTROLS
Gain: To achieve the most natural overdrive tone, set the gain knob low and the level control high. The most overdrive effect can be achieved with the level set low in combination with higher gain.
Tone: This is a high frequency roll-off control that is used to compensate for the tone changes that occur when the device is engaged.
Level: This is the master volume control for the overdrive circuit.
Output: This is the master volume control for the boostier circuit. It should be used in conjunction with the gain control to adjust the desired girth of the note.
Highs: This control is intended to compensate for the increased bandwidth (brightness) as the gain is increased. Roll this knob back to adjust the stock (bypassed) tone curve.
Input: This is the gain control of the boostier (clean boost) channel. This knob is designed to be a set-it-and-forget-it kind of control. It is NOT an attenuator. It is a bias adjustment that will make a TERRIBLE, SCRATCHY NOISE if adjusted with the circuit on. (DON'T TRIP! this is absolutely normal) All adjustments should be done with the device in bypass mode or off.

We will have a demo video of this pedal soon.

All together this is by far one of the best combo boost/overdrives pedals we have played! We have The boostiest ready fro demo along with other Burriss products any time at Elevation Boutiques. Purchase the Boostiest straight from us for limited time pricing.
