Amp.Expo.Over

Late nights, unending guitar riffs and enough gear shown in one space to make your head spin is over. The Nashville Amp Expo ended Sunday at midnight. We had a great time, met a lot of great people, saw amazing gear and watched some of the best players on earth preform live!

Sunday was a busy day and we did a ton of demonstrations!

Burriss Amps were our workhorse amps for this weekend and they really shined! We can't count the amount of compliments we received on how great these little 12lb-14lb heads sounded! True amazement followed when we told expo goers that you can power up to 10 9V pedals off the amps! We could even pack up two Burriss heads into our Rock Cr8 for easy and safe transport!

Owner and creator of Spaceman Effects, Zak, was with us all weekend giving Spaceman Fans the ins and outs of his hand built masterpiece effects! Spaceman left players in awe, feeling like they were really playing the pedal. Fans had the rare opportunity to demo a Spaceman pre-release, and the only one of its kind at the moment, The Aphelion Harmonic Overdrive. The Aphelion is now available for pre-order through Elevation Boutiques and was a show stopper at The Amp Expo, with some users even claiming it was the best overdrive in the building!

We gained fans for each product we represent! Players raved about Flatline Guitar's smooth necks and lightweight bodies that still sound so versatile and are very fairly priced! And when Phil Keaggy dropped by our room, falling for Flatline's Delta 90, he decided to do an even trade for his Flatline Vistaglide Custom on the spot! Now we have Phil's Vistaglide for sale which was his go to guitar for the las 6 months or more!

Mario Martin's sparkle blue metal flake, with checkerboard binding, pulled people into our room like a magnet. When they played through it's noiseless Lindy Fralins they were in heaven. Mario Martin Guitars were also featured in this months Premier Guitar Magazine!

We had goers asking to demo Maxon, Guyatone and Providence pedals, all blown away by the 25 piece pedal board we had on the floor for them to play through.

Tone Freak Effects and The Juliet Collective  (featured in this month's Premier Guitar Magazine) were also on our boards getting tons of shine time!

And of course, Armor Gold Cables were leaving people in disbelief that there truly is an indestructible cable out there! And one that sounds amazing!!

Porter Pickups gained lots of attention from players. Porter's all hand wound pickups made quite an impression. People raved at how clean and tight they were wound and could hardly believe it was all done by hand! We had Porter's classic Humbuckers installed in our Flatline Biscayne which makes a monster of a guitar!
Carrying some weight all weekend was our ever handy Rock Cr8! We had the Burriss Dirty Read & cab on top of it. Inside we stored some Armor Gold Cables. We had a number of pedals on our fold down & detachable pedal board! The casters on the bottom helped us load in and out like champs!

We even had visits from Phil Keaggy & Web Wilder! Both were highly impressed with Spaceman Effects, Flatline Guitars and Burriss Amps!

Check out some pictures we snapped at The Expo:
