Spaceman.Effects.Top.Secret.Fuzz

TOP SECRET

SOLD OUT

We received an unexpected package in the mail from Spaceman Effects. Inside we discovered a pedal without any markings or instructions so we decided to film a demo of this mystery pedal. Along with my friend Justin Weaver, we try to figure out what this pedal does as we go with no previous instructions. We recorded it live. This is the first time we have plugged this pedal in. Without an official description from Spaceman Effects we can't be sure we got our descriptions of it 100% accurate other than it is a unique fantastic fuzz!

Filmed by Transit Labs at Center Street Studios in Nashville, TN www.centerstreetrecording.com

DrNo-Effects takes you back in time and captured the “tone mystery” with his NEW vintage guitar effects. ”I totally adore the true vintage sound that made it famous. To create that “True Vintage Sound” all my effects are 100% handmade/handwired. I only use the best “old school” components and materials available. Just to ensure you have purchased a top quality product that lasts forever.  My effects only work with external 9v power supply. Batteries are bad for the world’s environment. EQD.Dirt.Transmitter

$145.00

Dirt Transmitter Fuzzdriver
The Dirt Transmitter is dual transistor crumbling fuzz tone. The bias control affects the voltage to the transistors which can create super cool gated velcro fuzz when turned counter clockwise or bring it back to life by turing it clockwise. It's "properly biased" around 2'OClock on the dial. Adjusting the tone with the bias is a must to achieve a wide range of sounds. The fuzz control can produce tones from overdrive like break up to all out thick ripping fuzz tones while never getting flabby. Excessive amounts of volume and virtually no extraneous noise. Works great with both single coils and humbuckers, clean up with the guitar volume is excellent .

Spaceman.Effects.WOW.Signal

Introducing The WOW Signal from Spaceman Effects
Pre-Order Today

This device is like no other we've come across.  The main fuzz manipulator has a wide gain range and utilizes a mix of modern silicon transistors, a vintage Soviet germanium transistor and a custom integrated circuit.  This signal can then be modulated in a unique way by a low-frequency oscillator, which can be fine tuned to transmit the desired message to our friends in deep space.

Completely hand-soldered and handmade in Portland, Oregon, the WOW Signal utilizes true-bypass switching via the heaviest duty mechanical footswitch available.  Open one up and you’ll see an unparalleled display of craftsmanship.  Thick, high-quality PCB along with detailed military-spec wiring, using vintage US made heavy-gauge stranded wire.  On top of the cast aluminum enclosure sits a durable, engraved vinyl faceplate and red jewel indicator light.  This fuzz is built to last a lifetime.  Each pedal is numbered on the nameplate, boasting its limited availability and in addition each is signed and numbered on the inside.  The WOW Signal also comes with a transferable three year warranty, plus a lifetime discount repair plan.

Demos coming soon!

ColdCraft.Custom.Shop

Elevation Boutiques has become one of the only places to get ColdCraft Effects Custom Shop pedals!
The Kiwi Fuzz, The Fiesta Fuzz, and The Fet Head are here and you won't find them anywhere else.

The limited edition FET Head was designed to be the ultimate pre-boost.  The all-Mosfet design features elements of Treble Boosters, stationary/stuck wah and a gritty, fuzzy overdrive.  This effect was specifically designed to come before dirty amps or overdrives to kick them into high gear with an extremely tunable and vocally articulate lead boost.  The combined effect is a thicker, tighter distortion that cuts extremely well in a band setting.
The first stage of the FET Head is a Mosfet-based treble boost featuring a Range control.  Range alters both the low frequency roll-off on the input, as well as the guitar signal input loading.  This kind of control works extremely well whether driven by a buffered output, or directly from the guitar.  The Gain knob controls the boost of the first stage.  The 2nd stage features a Boot-strapped Mosfet gain stage driving a differential stage.  This arrangement supplies the subtle, cocked wah vocal qualities as well as the overdrive/fuzz tone.  Wrapped around this stage is the Presence control, a negative feedback treble control very similar to those used in vintage tube amps.  The FET Head also features plenty of output power, tamed by the Volume control.

The first of Cold Craft's limited run Custom Shop effects is the Sweet Kiwi, a thick, modern Fuzz/Distortion with plenty of girth, bite and harmonic content to take your riff rock to the next level.  Dead simple two-knob operation puts no-frills tone at your fingertips.
Based on cascading power amp designs, the Sweet Kiwi has all the thick fuzz and volume boost needed to stand out.  3 stages power the Kiwi, combining op amp clipping for musical sizzle and power amp stages for thick, juicy muscle. The fuzz control increases the input drive to the power stages. The combination is best described as a fuzzy, saturated amp.
Used as a standalone effect, it’s equally at home with clean, semi or dirty amps. You can also stack the Kiwi after your boosts, overdrives and other filter effects for even more over the top, singing lead tones, even those ratty, raspy, low gain fuzzes that we all love for our riff rock. The bass content is thick and strong, fitting for all sorts of power chords, riffs and leads.

The MOSFET big brother of the original Fiesta Fuzz, the Custom Shop MOSFET Fiesta is a hybrid Silicon/Mosfet design that stacks an additional gain stage in front for thick, over-saturated fuzz.  The tone is very vocal, falling somewhere between a traditional Fuzz Face and that of a Tonebender.  The Mosfet stage keeps the sound focused and tight without losing that unique saturated honk.

The MOSFET Fiesta has traditional Fuzz and Volume controls with enough saturation and volume to severely punish your amp.  It also sports a "Smooth" control which tailors the input impedance to taste, this controls the softness and attack of the fuzz while also allowing proper operation when stacked after other effects.  9v DC Operation Only.

Look out for more custom shop ColdCraft pedals coming soon & exclusively found at Elevation Boutiques.

EarthQuaker.Devices.Hoof

The Hoof from EarthQuaker Devices is this week's featured pedal from Elevation Boutiques. The Hoof is a no-fuss, easy to use device capable of sounds from warm, gritty overdrive to a huge sustaining fuzz. It's a germanium/silicon hybrid muff style fuzz (based on the old green russian muff) with massive amounts of volume on tap and smooth amp-like sustain. It has a tighter, cleaner sound than most muffs which makes it more cutting and discernible in a band setting. The shift control changes the frequency response of the tone control, mainly on the treble side (but takes out the mud on the bass side). Clockwise scoops the mids and counterclockwise enhances the mids. When the shift control is set dead center it has roughly the same frequency response as the original 3 knob hoof (almost flat). With users like Dan Auerbach of The Black Keys you can rest assured there's a lot of rock inside this box! If you like fuzz, this is one you need and at $165 it's easy on the wallet.

The.Juliet.Collective

In August we partnered with a great new line of pedals from a company from Mississippi called The Juliet Collective. The Juliet Collective is a company out of the deep south with a love of music and tone. Started in 2009 by guitar player and inventor, Robbie Spears, The Juliet Collective strives to bring something new to the table. While Mississippi has a long history of providing the world with great musicians, Robbie wasn't one of them. Blessed with a good ear and slow fingers, Robbie decided do what he could for the music he loved and started building gear. Constantly experimenting, The Juliet Collective is on a mission to create that new piece of gear that will add something to the sonic landscape that in 30 years people wouldn't even comprehend not having access to. During The Nashville Amp Expo we featured The Juliet Collective's "Circadia", a polyrhythmic auto wah that caught the attention of many expo goers. Premier Guitar Magazine recently featured The Juliet Collective's "Set Adrift On Memory Bliss" modulated delay calling it "ultra cool". This delay even features a guitar mounted wand that controls modulation in real-time. Add their fuzz, "This Kingdom by the Sea" and the overdrive, "Crashoverride" and you have quite a first line up from this unique company! The Juliet Collective builds handmade guitar pedals, amplifiers, and even makes a mic distortion box.
We are thrilled to offer The Juliet Collective in our line up and can't wait to tell you more about this company. Order TJC from us today! Email: Brandon@elevationboutiques.com

Amp.Expo.Over

Late nights, unending guitar riffs and enough gear shown in one space to make your head spin is over. The Nashville Amp Expo ended Sunday at midnight. We had a great time, met a lot of great people, saw amazing gear and watched some of the best players on earth preform live!

Sunday was a busy day and we did a ton of demonstrations!

Burriss Amps were our workhorse amps for this weekend and they really shined! We can't count the amount of compliments we received on how great these little 12lb-14lb heads sounded! True amazement followed when we told expo goers that you can power up to 10 9V pedals off the amps! We could even pack up two Burriss heads into our Rock Cr8 for easy and safe transport!

Owner and creator of Spaceman Effects, Zak, was with us all weekend giving Spaceman Fans the ins and outs of his hand built masterpiece effects! Spaceman left players in awe, feeling like they were really playing the pedal. Fans had the rare opportunity to demo a Spaceman pre-release, and the only one of its kind at the moment, The Aphelion Harmonic Overdrive. The Aphelion is now available for pre-order through Elevation Boutiques and was a show stopper at The Amp Expo, with some users even claiming it was the best overdrive in the building!

We gained fans for each product we represent! Players raved about Flatline Guitar's smooth necks and lightweight bodies that still sound so versatile and are very fairly priced! And when Phil Keaggy dropped by our room, falling for Flatline's Delta 90, he decided to do an even trade for his Flatline Vistaglide Custom on the spot! Now we have Phil's Vistaglide for sale which was his go to guitar for the las 6 months or more!

Mario Martin's sparkle blue metal flake, with checkerboard binding, pulled people into our room like a magnet. When they played through it's noiseless Lindy Fralins they were in heaven. Mario Martin Guitars were also featured in this months Premier Guitar Magazine!

We had goers asking to demo Maxon, Guyatone and Providence pedals, all blown away by the 25 piece pedal board we had on the floor for them to play through.

Tone Freak Effects and The Juliet Collective  (featured in this month's Premier Guitar Magazine) were also on our boards getting tons of shine time!

And of course, Armor Gold Cables were leaving people in disbelief that there truly is an indestructible cable out there! And one that sounds amazing!!

Porter Pickups gained lots of attention from players. Porter's all hand wound pickups made quite an impression. People raved at how clean and tight they were wound and could hardly believe it was all done by hand! We had Porter's classic Humbuckers installed in our Flatline Biscayne which makes a monster of a guitar!
Carrying some weight all weekend was our ever handy Rock Cr8! We had the Burriss Dirty Read & cab on top of it. Inside we stored some Armor Gold Cables. We had a number of pedals on our fold down & detachable pedal board! The casters on the bottom helped us load in and out like champs!

We even had visits from Phil Keaggy & Web Wilder! Both were highly impressed with Spaceman Effects, Flatline Guitars and Burriss Amps!

Check out some pictures we snapped at The Expo:

Bonus Video of Phil Keaggyin our room!
